A whole-home system is installed where water enters the property, so every shower, tap and appliance runs on filtered water. Under-sink is a single dedicated tap. Plenty of people do both: the whole-home unit for everything, with reverse osmosis at the kitchen for drinking water.
How often do the cartridges need changing?
It depends on the system and how hard your supply is on it. The systems we install are designed for long service intervals, and we will tell you what yours is at handover so it is not a guess.
